Ceeyu strengthens its leadership team with Gino Geysermans and Dries Plasman

PR Ceeyu management team

After successfully completing a first funding round last month,   Ceeyu today announces two additions to its management team.  Gino Geysermans, formerly Sales Director Strategic Accounts at Telenet Business, will be responsible for Sales & Business Development, Dries Plasman, formerly VP Marketing & Product at Voxbone, will take care of marketing and product development at Ceeyu.

Gino previously worked for Euroclear, BT Global Services and for Telenet Business for more than 16 years, where he held various sales positions over the years and led both sales and presales departments. He is a translator by education and ultimately made translating the needs of companies into solutions his job. Gino is an empathetic leader who gets the best out of his colleagues and carries customer satisfaction as the ultimate KPI.  As Sales Director Large Enterprise & Strategic Accounts, Gino led a sales team of 29 account and sales managers (organized in 3 verticals - Large Enterprise, Government and Healthcare). In this capacity, he contributed significantly to the growth and expansion of Telenet Business.

Dries has earned his spurs at Voxbone, where he was in the management team for more than 7 years, and was responsible for product management and marketing.  Voxbone is the world market leader in a niche in telecom : the provision of "international telephone numbers" by means of a cloud service to companies and telecom operators in countries where they do not have a physical presence.  Voxbone, a success story in the Belgian tech sector, was founded in 2008 by two Brussels telecommunications engineers and has grown over the years to become a world market leader in its field.   The company was sold in 2020 to the American alternative telecom operator Bandwidth (Nasdaq : BAND) for USD 519.4 million.

"We are very pleased to welcome Gino and Dries to the leadership team at this exciting time in the development of our company," said Jimmy Pommerenke, CEO and founder of Ceeyu. "With the inclusion of   Belgian utilities and a number of well-known names in the financial, chemical and legal sectors, we have already demonstrated the value of our platform for the timely identification of cyber security risks.   Gino  and Dries are world-class professionals who  will help us lift Ceeyu to the European top in Cyber Security."

Ceeyu's cloud-based platform allows companies to identify their digital footprint on the Internet and monitor and prioritize associated cybersecurity risks in a continuous and automated way, both for themselves and for their key suppliers and partners. Automated vulnerability scans can be supplemented with questionnaire-based security audits, also digitally.
